We had the same dilema in the bank (coxswold) so made it into the bankers back office. You can just make it out in the pics. I love the idea of a secret door/passageway and a basement, or could you perhaps add thin mouldings to the back of the shelves and make their backs look like a wood panelled wall with a doorway? It's coming along wonderfully :0) Julia xxJulia and Hywelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16132024429486051350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1115922857692314288.post-15337933990287017812010-01-13T11:29:21.424-08:002010-01-13T11:29:21.424-08:00Or you could stuff as much as you can into the lit...Or you could stuff as much as you can into the little space you have left and make it look like a storage room.
The rest looks great too!Liraelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13660988877252953477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1115922857692314288.post-25465745851456067902010-01-13T11:27:35.742-08:002010-01-13T11:27:35.742-08:00I love Ara's idea- the shop looks sooo good wi...I love Ara's idea- the shop looks sooo good with that shelf there. What if you put another door inside that area (I can't remember if there was room or not) so that it looked as if there was a storage area and then you could turn and go through the door down to a basement? I was busy logging in to my blog and then there were two comments! lol The corner unit I was going to suggest as a 'hidden doorway' to the tradesman hallway and vice versa a bit like they have in stately homes. Or put a wall in behind the units (at the back) and turn it into a cupboard. ;o))
Michelle xxxMichellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15844807744316681870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1115922857692314288.post-16947039445307109902010-01-13T10:41:13.239-08:002010-01-13T10:41:13.239-08:00You could make that corner shelf hinge or pull out...You could make that corner shelf hinge or pull out and make it a little secret passage through the display cases!
